Faith wanted to celebrate our anniversary by jumping out of a perfectly good airplane. I guess it's one way to "take the plunge" :-)

This wasn't the last smile Faith would have during the entire experience. It really was a great time. Y'all should try it :-)

Alan went next- No holds barred...out you go...no turning back. Only way to reach the ground is to fall. You can almost hear him thinking, "Head up, arch the back, kick the instructor's butt with heels...AM I CRAZY?"

Thumbs up and enjoying the fall. Actually, it really didn't feel like you were falling at all. 14,000 feet really is pretty high though. I guarantee you won't look at commercial flights the same way as you climb up thru the clouds.

Oh, would you look at the time...gotta pull the chute.

Faith sails in for a nice, smooth landing. She made it look so easy.

I coasted in for a nice "slide into home plate". Thankfully, grass was the only stain on my pants by the end of the day.

August Pictures

Moya takes Gymnastics. She loves the challenge of mastering new talks and climbing on the apparatuses. Her favorite, I think is beam, she says it is the trampling. She improves each week. For the summer she was in rhythmic gymnastics and is working on her hola-hoop skills. Next is Moya showing off a "goal" of hers in earing my Greens. Moya was pinned my new tank on when I made MAJ. Good thing the rank is now velcro. Most memorable for her was standing in front of the crowd.





Paul is growing fast and with dettermination. He is set to catch-up with Moya and compete. He is meeting his milestones only a few days shy of when Moya met hers. Scary how much they parallel each other. Standing at the chair Paul is 7 months. Climbing on the table Pauls is 9 months. Paul getting out for a day in the park- cool baby. Paul loves his time with gymnastics, too.

The visit to oma and opa's. Yukon loved having pitter patter feet around- morefood for him. Moya liked getting in the mudd.

• Paul at 2 months next to my text books. Learning about Diabetes and Hypertension was just too much for him.
• Paul enjoying his new toy- exercise saucer. He loves bouncing to music, esp. His sister's songs.
• Paul is sitting-up, gearing himself for standing.
• Paul in the red was in NOV after is Christmas photos. He was all smiles when we arrived home.

Sharing Photos of Moya.

Moya visiting the Children's Museum- She is playing doctor looking at the ears and eyes. We practiced these skills during my Physical Assessment class. She is showing off what she learned and practicing. The other picture is her delivering mail. She must remember working the mailroom at Christmas time to deliver the mail downrange.

Above she is getting ready for her first pageant as and angel. She sang AWAY IN A MANGER. She enjoys learning songs with hand motions.

MAY 2006

Sharing pics of the Shaws visit to the WI Dells in Mar. While there, we searched for gems. Moya is sifting dirt thru water as for panning for gold. The gems are rough and not polished- you can opt to pay for the polishing. We went down the WI river to see the palisades. On the river ride we learned about WI history and use of the river for logging. One picture is of STANDING ROCK. Here is where shutter photography was invented. Wm Bennet inveneted the shutter to record the boats traveling down river. Famous picture show a man jumping between the rocks. Now a day for the toursit witness a dog making the leap.

This was our first vacation within WI. The Dells reminded me of Myrtle Beach. The attraction of the Dells is the large number of indoor water parks. We stayed at Christmas Village- a timeshare resort- which had a small indoor pool, the right size for Moya and not very elaborate.
